This Thursday 9 March, HAS green academy’s Applied Geo-Information Science (AGIS) programme will organise the HAS Geo Experience: the largest education-driven Geodata Science & Visualisation event for the living environment in the Netherlands!
Sharing knowledge, building knowledge together, collecting and using GEO data in public space is what GAES stands for together with its partner Yookr. On this day, we will present the Green As A Service way to make our public space data-driven, greener, more sustainable and climate-proof. With, as a first, a presentation of the Smart City research we will soon carry out, together with 6 HAS students, in the Laakkwartier in The Hague!
It will be a day of joint learning and development between the field and students in the field of geo-data. You will get insight into current geo-projects and there will be an official kick-off of the Digital Innovation Lab. Discover how students of HAS green academy are working on practical solutions for the spatial challenges of today and tomorrow! In the demo zone, the latest technological developments will be experienced and shared and you will discover how you/your organisation can contribute to this.
There are several key-notes on the latest Geo data and ICT innovations, a pitch stage and networking market to match internships and get to know each other for a job. Two anniversaries will also be celebrated this year, namely 75 years of HAS and the 10th anniversary of the AGIS course!
