Next Thursday 30 March is the 10th anniversary of the Nationaal Congres Beheer Openbare Ruimte at the Fokker Terminal in The Hague. GAES is here as a sponsor! We will be at the meeting square.
The anniversary edition of NCBOR is being organised in cooperation with host municipality The Hague, the City Deal Public Space, and of course the networks CROW Levende Stad and iAMPro in the De Binckhorst district of The Hague. And that was not chosen by chance. Besides being a special city and participant in the City Deal, The Hague is also the base for the ministries. And if anywhere the integrated approach to the renewal task is clearly visible, it is in De Binckhorst. Participants walk through the district and learn about the developments, issues and challenges.
Jubilee edition
In this jubilee edition, we look back on 10 years of the National Congress on Public Space Management. We look at the present and ahead to the future. Meanwhile, the conference is about much more than just public space management. This edition focuses on the joint approach to the renewal task of the physical living environment. It is so much more than just a congress. Professionals come together, share strategic and tactical knowledge and make connections.
Limitless Connecting
An integral approach to the renewal task with major transitions such as energy, water, biodiversity and circularity in public space can only be successful if ‘boundless connections’ are made. Between design and management, between above-ground and underground approaches and, of course, also with the future managers of our living environment. This is why the theme of NCBOR 2023 is: ‘Boundless Connections’. Boundless Connecting is in the genes of GAES! Functionally connecting people, data and greenery for optimal values and benefits in public space.
